Chaves v FC Porto

Table toppers FC Porto travel to face Chaves in the Primeira Liga tonight. Porto come in to this one on an amazing run of form and are unbeaten in their last 20 matches in all competitions. Chaves, on the other hand, sit second bottom of the league, level on points with bottom club Aves, and have failed to win in 14 of their 17 league games this season. Porto have got the best defence in the league, conceding just 10 goals in their 17 league games, whereas Chaves have scored a mere 12 goals in the league, conceding 24. We expect Porto to win this one against a Chaves side who are yet to beat the reigning champions in any competition.

Liverpool (-1)  v Crystal Palace

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool sit four points clear at the top of the Premier League,  and they look likely to keep their title charge going against a Crystal Palace side who will be looking over their shoulders at the relegation zone. Liverpool come in to this one having won 10 of their last 11 games in the Premier league. Palace, however, come in to this one on the back of a defeat to Watford. Palace have failed to win in 16 of their 22 league outings this season. Liverpool are looking for their seventh consecutive home victory in the Premier league and are expected to win this one comfortably. We expect the Reds to win this one by more than one goal, as they have scored 50 league goals this season, conceding just 10 in their 22 matches played.

Barcelona (-1) v Leganes

Table toppers Barcelona welcome Leganes to Camp Nou on Sunday evening. Barca are coming in to this game having won their last six matches in La Liga, and the run looks to continue against a Leganes side who have failed to win in 14 of their 19 league matches this season. We expect this one to land easily, even with Barca’s -1 handicap, as they have scored much more goals than any other team in the league this season, with a remarkable 53 in just 19 games. Leganes are one of three teams who have scored the lowest amount of goals in the league this season with just 17. In the toughest away fixture of the campaign, there is every chance that they will fail to score in this one.

Juventus (-1) v Chievo

It’s top against bottom in the Serie A on Monday night as high flyers Juventus welcome Chievo to the Allianz Stadium. Juve are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions and have only failed to win two league matches this season, losing none. The hosts also have the best goal difference in the league, scoring the most (38) and conceding the least (11) in their 19 league matches this season. Chievo, on the other hand, have failed to win in 18 of their 19 league matches this season and have the second worst goal difference in the league, conceding 35 and scoring just 14. We expect this one to land fairly easily, despite the -1 handicap, in what should be a routine win for Juventus.
